There’s no doubt that bringing together people with different backgrounds, experiences and views is how it should be. A Business Resource Group (BRG) is an Associate-led, company-supported, volunteer organization that assists the company in successfully onboarding, engaging and developing it members in a manner that delivers business results. BRG members typically represent demographic differences within the workplace. Giant currently supports the following BRGs:
The Women Adding Value (WAV) BRG is an inclusive group with the focus of inspiring and leveraging the female perspective to enhance the understanding of diversity in the workplace, in the marketplace and in the community. The WAV BRG is aligned with (local non-profit organizations).
They also provide professional development and networking opportunities to their members through a partnership with the Greater Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Network of Executive Women.
The Veteran’s BRG leverages the talents of our Veterans (internal and external) by providing value to AUSA Business and providing value and support to our Veterans and their families. It is guided through having a balanced membership and is not influenced by external politics.
